Payment

Upon booking your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email containing an invoice with the session cost, payment details, and the payment due date. The session fee is required in full, as any applicable rebates can only be processed after the session has been completed.

The payment due date is set at seven (7) days prior to your scheduled appointment. For appointments booked within seven (7) days, payment is required immediately (on the same day).

Please note that if payment is not received by the specified due date, your appointment may be subject to cancellation. To avoid this, kindly ensure payment is made on time.

Cancellations

You can notify us that you need to change or cancel your booking by emailing at racheldomoneypsychologist@gmail.com, or by calling on 0401 389 856.

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice during business hours will result in the full fee being charged. Please note that the Medicare Rebate or Health Insurance claims are not applicable to cancelled appointments.

Future bookings may be cancelled after you miss two consecutive appointments without contacting to reschedule.

Rebates

  • All clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan are eligible for a rebate on 10 individual sessions per calendar year. The rebate is currently $96.65. You will pay for your appointment in full and can choose how the rebate is processed:

    • process the claim yourself by supplying the paid invoice to Medicare

    • or, I can process the rebate on your behalf

  • You may request your paid invoice after the completed session to claim with your private health fund.

    Please note, you cannot receive both the MHTP rebate and private health rebate.
